Where is the party?!?

Strongly worded letters and social media posts?!?

Daniel Turk's avatar

Agreed. And worse is yet to come! Where’s the outrage? Where are the demonstrations? Where are the editorials? Where is Congress?

As the opposition party leader, please tell us what you are going to lead/inspire us to do.

YESSS!!! What is the Dem Party going to do to provide leadership and resistance to US single-handed aggressive invasion and kidnapping?? Speeches, demonstrations, legislation, Judicial review - Nice start, Ken/DNC - now is your time to LEAD! BE LOUD, BE STRONG, BE EVERYWHERE!!!!

AND JOIN WITH OTHER ORGANIZED GROUPS IN SOLIDARITY. A coalition! Stronger than going it alone.

We need hourly OUTRAGE on all media. Every day! Every action! Everywhere!

Americans deserve better.

I agree all.

We should see the Democrats everywhere on social/corporate media with sound bites.

We need to hear the outrage!

Americans deserve better.

STOP BEING DISTRACTED! IMPEACHMENT IMPEACHMENT IMPEACHMENT! Plus, talking about this is NOT enforcing the Epstein transparency LAW that is being illegally ignored by Bondi!

Susan Rose's avatar

This must be addressed, but I am also concerned that the Epstein victims getting justice is being lost in this nightmare. They have to stay on top of the Epstein case also. Pressure Bondi constantly and use everything within the law to bring about justice. These victims deserve justice as do all Americans.

the attack on venezuela and capture of maduro is being viewed by some democrats as an anti democratic and illegal action, but we must always wonder about the opposite view, that not taking action against tyranny, such as cuba and venezuela, causes infinite harm and does not help the citizens of these countries....whatever trump's motivations, what are the consequences for the people?...doing nothing is not necessarily the most praiseworthy policy

With Congressional input and approval - for any action of war!!! Not a President acting on his own to make decisions of this magnitude - NEVER! Who does he think he is??? Well, he thinks he is omnipotent and has the power, or so he thinks, to rule the world. If world organizations don't hurry up and do something about all his illegal activity, there will be no stopping him. Just listen to his inflated, lunatic ego already planning to keep the attacks going. He needs to be stopped but until the spineless Republicans in Congress get some backbone and stand up to him, Congress is powerless - and that, my friends, is the most frightening thing of all!!! Yes, I do want to see and hear Democrats at every level of government relentlessly pointing out and harping on his lawlessness - use every imaginable tool to keep getting the message out there. As trump said, "if you say something often enough, people will believe it". (His philosophy on lying as told to news media!) Well, we're telling the truth so convincing people is that much easier.

Yes to all…BUT what are you doing? Where is an OUTSPOKEN LEADER of the Democratic Party guiding the country to alternative action and informing the country and the world of what can be done? Are my donations to this party supporting only strong words with no action? DO SOMETHING! LEAD!

Would you encourage the Democratic Caucus or the National Democratic Committee to release a “Democratic Project 2026” explaining, for example, what Democrats would do to help restore the “American Dream” for ALL Americans if you won back the House and Senate majority? And, pledge that every Democrat across America run on the policies in the Democratic Project 2026. Couldn’t that be a gamechanger in these midterms, boost Democratic voter turnout, and prevent Trump’s fascist new world order from monopolizing all the attention over the next 11 months? What do you think? Would you support the EARLY release of a “Democratic Project 2026”?

In this modern era, nation building is a bad idea. In the recent past, we had the CIA to run covert operations, especially in Central and South America to facilitate our financial “democracy” shouting. It is now the 2020-2030’s and we seem to be repeating the 1920’s and 1930’s, leading up to WWII. If XI attacks Taiwan, will the West join Japan and stand up? Will the Euro nations' squabbling lead to disintegration? Isn't the United Nations following the League of Nations?-- Ineffectual and practically useless today? I liked it when felt OK buying Chinese stuff at great prices…”Free Trade”? I ask questions and I’m not looking forward to some of my perceived forecast answers. We repeatedly cannot seem to learn from our past.
