DNC Chair Ken Martin: “I am sick of losing friends to political violence.”
This is Ken Martin, Chair of the Democratic National Committee.
Watch my full statement on last night’s special election to fill the seat left vacant after the murder of my friend, Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman, my thoughts on the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and why this moment demands unity, courage, and leadership.
As I previously said, “We need to come together to denounce the violence happening in our country and make clear what this moment calls for: courage and respect.”
Thank you.
Ken

DNC, I would suggest you have a sit down with some Independent Media. Start with Meidas Touch and also bring in some of their substack commentators. You want to change? Their perspective will be enlightening, I promise you. I will guarantee they will have direct action steps to implement. What do you have to lose? You need to go out and instead of being in a defensive platform and responding. DNC must start leading. You need a new voice (s). Help save our Democracy!
Republicans have betrayed Workers, Farmers, Veterans, Latinos and on and on. Say it!
Americans deserve better!
There’s no “coming together” with fascists, Ken.
