For Republicans: Billionaires > American People
Their vote to pass the “Big Beautiful Bill” is a direct assault on working families across the country.
Welcome to this week’s edition of The Blue Print!
Last week, Donald Trump and Republicans made it crystal clear where their loyalties lie: with their billionaire backers and MAGA donors. Their vote to pass the “Big Beautiful Bill” wasn’t just a political act — it was a direct assault on working families across the country.
The bill’s consequences will be devastating: 17 million Americans will lose access to health care, and 5 million are at risk of losing food assistance. Thanks to this bill, millions of hardworking Americans — people who get up every day to support their families and occasionally need a helping hand — will lose access to critical programs they rely on to keep their heads above water. Millions could lose their jobs.
It’s important to note that these are not hypothetical examples. These are real implications for real people who depend on these services to live. The DNC and Democrats nationwide are committed to protecting American families and preserving the values that truly make this country great.
Just last week, the DNC, alongside our sister committees, launched “Organizing Summer,” a robust organizing plan to empower our volunteer base to fire back against Republicans and ensure state parties are registering voters now, not just in the final months leading up to the election. But we still need your help.
We are asking you to take a door-knocking shift for a Democrat running for office in your community, call your representatives to hold them accountable, and make sure your friends and family are registered to vote.
We can — and will — vote out every single Republican who voted for this disastrous bill. However, to do it, we need to start organizing now.
Here are four ways you can support the Democratic Party this week:
Sign Up for Organizing Summer: This summer, we are focused on empowering Democrats and holding Republicans accountable for their harmful policies. Join us in organizing your community, connecting with like-minded Democrats, and building support against Trump and the Republican agenda.
Start a Sustaining Gift to the DNC: Consider starting a monthly gift — just $5 can make a big difference. Your contribution helps the DNC support state parties and elect Democrats at every level nationwide. (If you already make a monthly gift, thank you!)
Spread the Word to Your Network: Repost Democratic wins on social media from @FactPost and @TheDemocrats and speak to friends and family about issues affecting your community.
Find a Local Candidate in Your Area: Learn how you can support Democratic candidates and engage with more local efforts to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot in your district.
Thank you so much for reading The Blue Print. If you enjoyed this week's newsletter, make sure to like, comment, restack, and share!

Too scary to knock doors where I am, but good luck!
I hope the DNC will get behind the candidate for Mayor that we in NYC have selected. He is the future of the City and can become a future good force for the Democratic Party. As the DNC told David Hogg repeatedly, it is all of our interests to support the winner of primaries, regardless of his or he rage or religion. If the DNC stays neutral in the general election, it will be long remembered by those who believe in elections.
