From the Beltway to Your Backyard: The DNC's New Organizing Vision
DNC Chair Ken Martin released a memorandum laying out his vision for the seven organizing principles of the DNC
Happy Tuesday!
Last week, Kate from the DNC’s Organizing Team shared a special edition of The Blue Print, highlighting the DNC’s plan to get out of the Beltway. Then, DNC Chair Ken Martin released a memorandum laying out his vision for the seven organizing principles of the DNC centered on organizing early, organizing always, organizing everywhere, and winning everywhere. If you’re interested in learning more about Democrats’ plan to organize everywhere to win everywhere, I highly recommend giving it a read!
The DNC’s aggressive investment in organizing shouldn’t come as a surprise. In his first few months as DNC chair, Chair Martin has consistently emphasized the importance of reaching people nationwide 365 days a year, not just in the weeks leading up to an election.
To do that, we need to ensure we’re using the best resources available. That’s why the DNC also recently announced the launch of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify tools that best align with our needs and goals, including voter and volunteer system databases. Arthur Thompson, the DNC’s Chief Technology Officer, provided more details about this process in the DNC Tech Team’s newsletter.
As we know, there’s no such thing as a non-partisan election. Republicans are running for every office — and often winning — because too many races go uncontested. It’s crucial for Democrats across the country to step up, run, and win!
Here Are Three Ways To Support the Democratic Party This Week:
Train with us: The new National Training Department is building and strengthening Democratic Party infrastructure to ensure electoral success for years to come. Getting involved is easy and fun!
Get involved with your local Democratic party: Local Democratic parties are the backbone of our movement, advocating for Democrats and engaging with their communities daily.
Attend a People’s Town Hall: Democrats are hosting town halls across the country to give Americans a platform to make their voices heard. Check out the newly announced Town Hall dates to see when we’ll be near you!
DNC Hosts Tax Day Press Call on Trump and MAGA GOP’s Tax Scam
We’ve heard from grassroots supporters that the DNC should hold press briefings to draw attention to Donald Trump’s dangerous actions, and we’re doing exactly that!
Last week, the DNC hosted a press call on Tax Day with Rep. Ayanna Pressley, DNC Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta, former Chief Economist of the United States Department of Labor Heidi Shierholz, and Kirsten Grady — an American who’s been impacted by Trump’s harmful policies.
On the call, participants discussed the impact of Trump’s economic agenda and how Trump promised to lower costs on day one but is instead setting Americans’ dollars on fire, skyrocketing costs, and putting the economy on the verge of a “Trump recession.” It’s essential that Democratic leaders and community members speak out about the harm the Trump administration is doing. We cannot let their lies go unchecked.
Initiatives like these are only possible with your feedback and support. We’re always reading comments and ideas from grassroots supporters, whose constructive input helps guide the Party’s efforts and ensures we’re addressing the issues that matter most.

Did you know that the Democratic National Committee has sister committees?
While the Democratic National Committee (DNC) serves as the head of the Party, we also have 12 other committees dedicated to electing Democrats at every level of government. You may already be familiar with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the Democratic Governors Association (DGA), or the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC). But did you know we also have committees focused on electing Democratic Attorneys General, municipal officials, and more?
Click the button below to explore our sister committees and discover how you can get involved.

We also need a well being committee
Where we need to educate people on how to thrive and live a joyful life in this current atmosphere. Otherwise more than 60% of the population that are living pay check to pay check and under TREMENDOUS stress - will have their frontal lobe shut down. This makes them lose interest and unable to help them selves and others. So we REALLY need to help them survive and thrive NOW.
Here is a 30 second video with a simple plan for it. https://youtu.be/9iJ8sRfkCNE?feature=shared
Does the DNC have any actual plans to address the gross wealth inequality that is perverting our society, or is the Democratic Party simply going to pay worthless lip service to this issue the way it has for the past several decades?
