I am and have been a Democrat for decades. For the life of me, I can not understand why, the DNC is not more proactive in the media. They rarely make any news, they are a ghost. The MAGA CPAC makes headlines every time they meet! Most Democrats do not even know the name of the DNC leadership! I will always rally for Democratic solidarity, but honestly , I find the DNC as recklessly mute. They ask for donations....Get some orators to stage national events , get some slogans that are clever and GET LOUD! Can't you become news worthy?
If anything the last year has taught us is that we have to rely on ourselves to save this democracy. Institutions (including the DNC) will not help us get there. Yes, we have to have hard conversations. When will the DNC follow it's own advice and release the report analyzing the 2024 election loss? It's not rehashing the past or seeking blame. It's having the hard conversations now so they don't derail us come election time.

I think that is the best tactic to use right up to your midterm election. tRump would blame the moon if that were possible for his decisions. Of course he can't read. That's why everyone reads the docs to him. He's sore about not winning the; 'Nobel Peace Prize'. That by the way, is up to a committee not the Country of Norway. Today is the opening of the Olympics. I know some may not be into sports. However, they do show you and tell you all about Italy and what it has to offer. Beautiful mountains to ski on and other attractions. So for today, focus on something positive. Turn off your phones and just enjoy. Tomorrow is the future where you can start making a difference. Yes you do have less than 9 months before your midterm election but, America, you have a lot of work to do. Time to Stand Tall get involved in your election. Sign yourself up to be a volunteer. You can reach people on Social media and also at phone banks. Hold bbq's hen parties and other parties to reach out to your friends neighbours and co workers. Please make sure that you check on your neighbours at the same time to make sure they're ok. You can also get in touch with the younger generation. The kids that are graduating high school and are in college. That is a; 'HUGE' demographic. So, America, rest up today for tomorrow. A new chapter is going to start. Pull yourselves up by your shoelaces or boots and start that beautiful;'BLUE WAVE' you did in 2020. Don't be intimidated by; 'ICE or tRump'. Just focus on the possibilities that are before you. Yes there is a light in the middle of this tunnel. It's small right now. But the more your engaged in the election the larger it will seem and yes, you will feel a sense of pride. As a Canadian, I love my American neighbours. Together we can achieve anything.
