National Voter Registration Day is September 16, and Democrats are launching a National Voter Registration Week of Action!
While Trump and Republicans are attempting to silence communities and throw up barriers at the ballot box, voters are putting their faith in the Democratic Party. Democrats continue to beat the odds, over perform nationwide, and win back-to-back special elections — and we’re only getting started.
Across the country, supporters will be mobilizing for the Week of Action by hosting voter registration drives, protecting the right to vote by staying informed and engaged, and building power in their communities.
That’s why we’re asking YOU to join our National Voter Registration Week of Action. Whether it’s organizing an event in your neighborhood or making sure you’re registered to vote, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Ready to take action?
Join the Democrats for Voter Reg-a-Thon
On National Voter Registration Day, Democrats will be hosting a Voter Reg-a-Thon! Learn about opportunities on voter registration efforts, how you can help register more voters, and hear from key speakers on how Democrats are activating voters across the country.
Make Sure You and Your Friends Are Registered To Vote
Take five minutes today to register to vote or make sure your registration is up to date. Voters can find education and information to help them. Reach out to at least three friends that you think should double-check their registration — have they moved recently?
Have questions about voting? Call the voter assistance hotline, and our team can get you the help you need to cast your ballot and make sure it's counted.
Spread the Word
One of the most effective ways to make an impact is spreading the word. You have power in your network, and a simple reminder from you can make all the difference. This National Voter Registration Week of Action, we’re asking supporters to make their voices heard and use digital platforms to share voter registration information! YOU have the power to help us register more voters, so that we can win more elections. Every action can make a difference.
Feeling energized? Share what actions you’ll be taking this weekend in the comments below!
Thanks for fighting with us! Together, we can make a difference.
In solidarity,
