Somehow I doubt you didn't hear anything about stopping support for Israel and it's ongoing genocide in Gaza, ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and Lebanon, war crimes everywhere that we are joining them in, especially in Iran. They are behind much of our current foreign policy problems.
We need progressive candidates with strong moral clarity who can demonstrate that they are willing to fight for the working class and the vulnerable. Gavin Newsom doesn't have it, Kamala Harris failed to show hers. If we can't get people who can drum up more class solidarity, the world is going to be really dire with the coming economic and climate catastrophes.
The Washington Democratic establishment is not listening to Maine voters. In fact Chuck Schumer et al are using the full force of the party and party resources to defeat the leading Democratic contender for our Senate seat now held by Republican Susan Collins. Our local Democratic committees stay out of the primaries, so should Washington.
At Schumer's direction, the Washington Democratic establishment is doing the Republicans' dirty work for them - amplifying opposition research and pushing Chuck Schumer's hand picked candidate who can only win against Collins if a lot of Maine Democrats hold their nose to vote for a candidate pushed on us by the Washington establishment. It did not work for Hillary Clinton. It did not work for Kamala Harris. And even a life long Vote Blue No Matter Who Democrat such as myself has just about reached the limit.
Despite all Washington's bullying and mud slinging, our candidate continues to surge in the polls. Why doesn't the Washington Democratic establishment listen to us? Ask Chuck 'I'd rather be minority leader than see party reform' Schumer.
The DNC doesn’t want to hear or reveal the truth that arming and funding Israel’s genocides is what cost Dems the election, and that it continues. AIPAC funds are toxic now that the public is becoming more aware. Jeffries & Schumer represent Israel, not their constituents. Democrats endorsing anti-progressive candidates will make Dems lose. Why bother surveying if you don’t listen?
