The DNC Is Reaching Voters Everywhere
From getting the DNC out of D.C. to more historic wins, here’s what's going on at the DNC this week.
Happy Thursday, Democrats!
We are heading into the new year in full force, ready to tackle the midterms head-on and get Democrats elected up and down the ballot anywhere and everywhere.
The DNC is already working overtime to make critical investments to win big in 2026. From building revolutionary organizing programs to finding innovative ways to connect with grassroots supporters, we are getting the DNC out of D.C. and meeting voters where they are. We have already seen monumental wins and overperformances in historically red areas this year by being on the ground and connecting with voters at their doorsteps, sharing what the DNC and Democratic candidates will do for their communities. From Eileen Higgins’ historic win to become the first Democratic mayor of Miami in nearly 30 years, to Eric Gisler flipping a Trump +12 state assembly seat in Georgia, we are breaking new ground everywhere.
Additionally, we’re keeping our momentum strong by fighting fire with fire. As the Trump administration spews constant lies and attacks on the American people, we’re working around the clock to hold them accountable and fight back in any way possible. From holding Trump accountable online with our rapid response account, @FactPostNews, to fighting back against Republican redistricting, the DNC is fighting tooth and nail to defend the American people.
This week, we’ll take a look at the Democrats’ momentum that isn’t slowing down, the latest from DNC Chair Ken Martin, and how we’re holding the Trump administration accountable in the midst of its chaos.
Congratulations to Eric Gisler!
Last week, Democratic candidate Eric Gisler clinched victory in the race to represent District 121 in the Georgia state assembly. Gisler flipped a Trump +12 district in another Democratic overperformance this year, showing that our momentum isn’t slowing down.
Gisler ran a strong campaign focused on lowering costs, further proving that Americans trust Democrats more to handle the economy than the Trump administration. With this win, Democrats have now won or overperformed in 226 out of 254 key and special elections this year — nearly 90 percent.
The DNC worked tirelessly to support Gisler’s campaign throughout this election season, including a GOTV organizing blitz to urge voters to cast their ballots. Additionally, the DNC made historic monthly investments into state parties to show that when we organize everywhere, we win anywhere — including Georgia.
Trump’s Flopped Pennsylvania Trip
Last Tuesday, Trump headed to Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District to tout his economic plan that raised costs for Pennsylvania families across the state. In PA-08, Trump’s Big Ugly Bill cut SNAP benefits for over 10,000 families and will kick over 20,000 families off their health insurance.
As expected, Trump spewed lie after lie in his first in-person rally since July. While aides promised he would preview upcoming plans to address affordability, Trump’s message offered zero new plans to lower prices for everyday Americans. Nine in ten Americans are worried about the cost of living. Donald Trump’s response is to call affordability a hoax and give himself an “A-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus” on the economy.
REMEMBER: Pennsylvania is a critical battleground state for the upcoming midterm elections. While Trump is attempting to put a Band-Aid on his broken economy, Democrats are fighting every day to lower costs for Pennsylvanians and make life more affordable. Republicans are scrambling heading into 2026 to maintain power in swing states, while Democrats are on the offense to win big in the midterms.

Trump Has Failed Our Farmers
The Trump administration recently announced a bailout for farmers who have been crushed by his devastating trade war — after months of delays and excuses. In an attempt to fix what he broke, Trump will provide American farmers with taxpayer-funded emergency payments that won’t reach them until at least February.
Trump’s trade war has been disastrous for farmers and the entire country. Experts warn that this is simply a temporary fix, failing to permanently remedy the damage that Trump’s policies have caused. As a result, farm sector debt is expected to increase by five percent and reach nearly $600 billion this year.
It’s clear that Trump has never, and will never, put Americans first. As farmers continue to struggle, Trump still chose to send money to Argentina to bail out their economy rather than protect his own. Trump has made it clear: he would rather protect his billionaire buddies than everyday, hardworking Americans.

The Latest From DNC Chair Ken Martin
As a part of his mission as DNC Chair, Ken Martin has been reaching voters everywhere. Recently, he made an appearance on CBS News to offer a clear-cut look at the Democrats’ strategy heading into 2026. While Donald Trump has been wreaking havoc on the country, Chair Martin explains that we are working harder than ever to improve people’s lives and strengthen communities nationwide.

Can the DNC please write a post about the vision that doesn't mention any Republican or what any Republican is doing? Please stop responding and start driving.
It seems like a problem to hide the 2024 autopsy. We mocked Republicans for ignoring theirs in the past and now we won't even discuss ours?
