Just weeks after the DNC’s Organizing Team launched Organizing Summer — an all-out organizing campaign — Chair Ken Martin has announced another wave of investments. Virginia’s coordinated campaign will receive an initial seven-figure investment from the DNC to help Virginia Democrats win up and down the ballot this November and next. This isn’t just about winning one race: It’s a continuation of Democrats’ long-term strategy to build Party infrastructure to mobilize thousands of volunteers, and it’s working. In June, Democrats gained nearly 18,000 registered voters, a sharp contrast to Republicans, who only gained a little over 5,000.
The investment into Virginia will:
Help the Virginia coordinated campaign continue to hire organizers and other key staff to engage with voters early and often.
Fund early persuasion programs to ensure that voters know the stakes of these elections and how Democrats will deliver for working families.
Test new tactics and tools to ensure our message is resonating with voters across the Commonwealth.
Expand our reach to key constituencies that we lost ground with in the November 2024 elections, such as Black, Latino, and AANHPI voters.

Virginia’s off-year elections have long served as a temperature check for national sentiment. As Chair Martin put it, the 2025 elections in Virginia will be “the catalyst for the blue wave that is coming for Republicans in 2026.”

Democrats are investing at every level — from the governor’s mansion to the House to the school board to ensure Democrats are victorious in 2025, 2026, and beyond. Chair Martin added in a statement from the DNC, “This investment will aid strong Democratic leaders like Abigail Spanberger, Ghazala Hashmi, and Jay Jones and turbocharge organizing efforts while building Democratic infrastructure that will help support Democratic victories all across the ballot.”

The DNC is Trolling Trump… AGAIN
Last week, the DNC rolled out @TrumpEpsteinBot, a new automated X (Twitter) account holding Donald Trump accountable for refusing to release the Epstein Files. This comes after multiple Trump allies, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, backtracked on previous claims about the Epstein client list.
Republicans talked a big game about releasing the Epstein files during the campaign, and now they are chickening out. It doesn’t matter how the GOP tries to spin it — either they lied to the American people to get elected, or they are lying now to protect Donald Trump from any accountability for his long association with an infamous sex trafficker. The GOP’s continued flip-flopping is exposing them as the phony liars that they are.
Follow @TrumpEpsteinBot on X, and share it with your network.
The People’s Town Hall Update
On Friday, Democrats hosted our 138th People’s Town Hall in Utah’s 4th Congressional District. This means that Democrats have officially held town halls in all 50 states this year, meeting constituents where their Republican representatives won’t.
Across the country, Democrats are calling out Republicans for running scared from their failed agenda and for making life harder and more expensive for working people.
Thank you to everyone who showed your support and attended a town hall! Democrats are delivering results thanks to supporters like you, who have amplified our messaging.

Good story on Virginia. Hopeful and helpful. Could you do a similar one on what the DNC is going to do to help those of us in NYC elect our great mayoral candidate. If the Party doesn't help the primary winner against failed candidates running on independent lines, it is a message that will not be forgotten.
All good stuff.
I think it would be more welcoming to more visitors to the DNC site if there were photos of people that displayed more diversity.
