Congratulations to our Democratic Nominees!
We are in the midst of primary season, and across the country, voters have made their voices heard to nominate Democrats to win big in the midterms. Check out some of the latest nominees:
Chris Rabb
Congratulations to Chris Rabb for securing the Democratic nomination for Pennsylvania Congressional District 3!
Rabb is an accomplished, five-term state representative who has delivered real results for northwest Philadelphia in the state legislature. In Congress, he will work to fight for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District by lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and fighting for working families.
Chris Harden
Congratulations to Chris Harden on winning the Democratic nomination for the Georgia Congressional District 11 election!
Harden has spent his life fighting for Georgians as an attorney, and is ready to take the fight to Congress on behalf of Georgia’s 11th Congressional District. Harden will work to support all Georgians and fight back against Trump’s cruel agenda. Leading up to November, the DNC is ready to help organize and mobilize voters to ensure Georgia’s 11th Congressional District has a leader who will stand up for them.
Paige Cognetti
Congratulations to Paige Cognetti on becoming the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District!
As mayor of Scranton, Cognetti has fought each day to deliver real results for hardworking Pennsylvanians. Now, Cognetti hopes to flip Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District blue and serve the people of northeastern Pennsylvania. As a proven champion for working families, Cognetti will work to lower costs for Pennsylvanians and fight back against Trump’s harmful agenda.
Recent Good News: Democrats Deliver
Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval Stands Up for Ohioans
Under Democratic Mayor Aftab Pureval, Cincinnati has erased over $219 million in medical debt for more than 100,000 residents. This massive win was made possible through the mayor’s Medical Debt Relief program.
“This is not just a significant step toward dismantling the barriers that have contributed to the wealth gap in Cincinnati,” said Mayor Pureval. “It is a collaboration that has helped change the lives of local families on a deeply personal, human level.”
The Trump administration has made medical care unaffordable for many Americans. New data shows that ACA premium payments have increased by an average of 58% — nearly $800 in additional annual costs. Nearly 10% of 2025 ACA enrollees have become uninsured as a result of Trump and Republicans’ cuts.
Democrats are fighting to deliver real results to ensure that every American can afford the healthcare they need.
Governor Gavin Newsom Balances the Budget
In more good news, Governor Gavin Newsom has balanced California’s budget — bringing its structural deficit down to $0 through 2028.
California’s updated budget includes a record $5 billion for education priorities such as training and supporting teachers, $100 million to help wildfire survivors rebuild their homes, and a 50 percent tax cut for new small businesses.
“California is proof that fiscal discipline and progressive values go hand in hand,” said Gov. Newsom. “We’re balancing the budget, eliminating deficit, cutting spending, and building reserves — all while protecting healthcare, education, and essential services for Californians.”
When Democrats take charge, real results are delivered.
Mayor Mamdani Scores a Goal for New York City
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup taking place across North America this summer, sky-high ticket prices left many unable to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event.
In a deal with FIFA, Mayor Zohran Mamdani secured 1,000 tickets to upcoming World Cup games, which will be priced at $50 and distributed to New Yorkers via ballot.
Democratic mayors like Mamdani are fighting to put their citizens first. In this huge win for New Yorkers, Mamdani implemented the only citywide access program of its kind for the tournament.

Thanks, Olivia! Great news! 💙
You lost a good voice in Lev Parnas. He is moving from Democrat to Independent.
People are so afraid of the same old thing with parties. Until the Democrats come out and talk about doing better than before, etc. the Party has a challenge. Public Apology. Polling on the Democratic Party is way too low. Nothing you don't know.
If this is not fixed, 2028 won't happen. 2024 will happen (if there are elections) because the chaos and corruption is so out of control.
You are doing much better in other areas, but isn't this the main area that needs focus? Re-branding.
Americans deserve better.
