Three Ways To Support Democrats This Weekend
Can you commit at least 30 minutes to help elect Democrats?
Welcome back to Ground Game, Democrats!
This weekend, the DNC Organizing Team is launching a Weekend of Action with three main goals:
Build power by re-engaging supporters and volunteers from 2024 and earlier in 2025 in this fight.
Keep up the accountability and pressure as Republican House and Senate members return home during recess, after voting to slash Medicaid and food assistance.
Continue to capture volunteers to grow our active volunteer base through voter engagement, ahead of launching Virginia DVC later in August.
Here are the top actions you can take this weekend, based on your availability:
Available for 30 minutes or less:
Engage in a conversation with someone in your life around the impacts of the Trump Tax Bill and the actions of Republicans in Washington, and in your community.
DNC Conversation Toolkit:
Available for 2 hours:
Attend an Organizing Summer event! Our volunteers and state parties are hard at work planning events.
National Organizing Events: This feed is designed to help you find events! These events are run by volunteers in your respective areas and National Organizing staff. This does not include events hosted by state parties.
Phone Banks for Texas: We are hosting phone banks to Texas voters all weekend, in response to the GOP redistricting proposal.
I have 5+ hours to give!
If you have a lot of time to give this weekend or moving forward, host an event in your community! We are asking grassroots supporters like yourself to host rallies, wave signs, attend community meetings, show up at your local farmers market, and greet your Republican representatives in your community.
Event Hosting Resources:
Register Your Event: After events are registered, one of our organizers will reach out to ensure event organizers have what they need!
Review our Event Host Guide to find everything you need to know to run an effective event.
Thanks for being in this fight with us! Your voice, your conversations, and your actions matter.
