We’re Only Getting Started
While Democrats delivered a blue sweep across the country, we know the work does not stop. Learn how you can get involved and keep the momentum going as we wrap up the year and head into 2026!
From the longest shutdown in American history to Trump’s billionaire-backed agenda, Republicans continue to demonstrate that they have no plans to deliver on their promises to address the affordability crisis. While Democrats are fighting to make life more affordable, Trump and Republicans are driving prices higher for groceries, housing, and health care. It’s no surprise that on Election Day, Democrats nationwide made history, winning races up and down the ballot. It’s made one thing clear — the American people are sick and tired of Trump’s disastrous economic policies.
But this election season is not over. In just a few weeks, elections in Florida and Tennessee will be taking place, giving voters another chance to fight back against Trump’s harmful policies against the American people.
Ready to keep the momentum going? Here’s how you can help:
Tennessee
As early voting takes place, Democrats are fighting to ensure Tennessee voters know the clear choice they face on December 2 in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District. State Rep. Aftyn Behn is running a campaign that is laser-focused on protecting health care and lowering costs for Tennessee families. From serving in the Tennessee legislature to her years as a community organizer, Aftyn has dedicated her life to holding government accountable and demanding transparency from those in power. In stark contrast, her opponent Matt Van Epps said “we are moving in a great direction,” despite the fact that Donald Trump’s extreme agenda kicks 210,000 Tennesseans off their health insurance and puts nine rural hospitals on the brink of closure.
Every step of the way, Behn’s fought to keep families safe, standing up to those who siphon wealth from neighborhoods while stripping away freedoms, putting power back where it belongs — in the hands of the communities that make Tennessee and this country strong.
Florida
Across Florida, there are runoff elections. In the City of Miami, City of Miami Beach, and Winter Haven, Democrats are organizing and fighting to take the state back, ready to deliver for Floridians who are tired of Republican chaos.
In the City of Miami, Eileen Higgins is a proven leader who delivers results and is running for mayor to restore trust in City Hall by cutting through red tape, ending corruption, and ensuring government works for the people. With her record of action, Eileen will enhance public safety, protect Biscayne Bay, and foster a more affordable, connected, and resilient Miami. Meanwhile, her opponent Emilio González, has received Trump’s endorsement, aligning himself with Republicans’ extreme agenda. Between now and Election Day, Democrats are all in to elect Eileen Higgins and ensure Miami families have a champion who is fighting for them, not Donald Trump.
It’s time for a change and for Florida to elect strong local leaders to deliver for their communities.

I’ve canvassed and phone banked for Dems for years.
However, until the Party leaders and elected demonstrate the moral courage to condemn the antizionism/antisemitism that’s infected so many Dem voters, I won’t be giving time or money.
The Palestinianist caucus - the 21 who signed extremist liar and antisemite, Tlaib, great genocide blood libel against Israel - are the worst of all. They likely know that Tlaib repeats Hamas propaganda when she lies about Israel and tries to erase the Jewish people from our own history, as the indigenous people of Israel, and replace us with a Palestinian people that never existed until Arafat adopted the name from Roman Syria Palestina. Palestinians are Arabs, of course, just like the Arabs of Jordan Arabs come from Arabia. Jews come from Judea.
So, rather than tell the truth, loud and proud - there was NO genocide, just a defensive war against barbarian terrorists, that AIPAC is a minnow, that antizionism is wrong, antisemitic conspiracy theories are wrong, they sign her resolution, saying what is a LIE, is true.
When the Party proves that it’s not going to allow Jews to be persecuted, Israel to be defamed, or the DSA Nazis to cannibalize it, then I might help the Ds again.
Jews have been loyal and reliable Dem voters for decades. The Dem abandonment of truth, of the Jewish people, and of Jewish safety is a betrayal.
Right now, it appears the Dems are following the delusional extremists rather than leading. Just like I watched the GOP do when they started following MAGA & echoing their insane conspiracies. How’d that turn out for the GOP? They won, but they can’t govern because the crazy takes hostages.
