Hello Democrats,
Last Wednesday, DNC Chair Ken Martin sat down with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison to share how Democrats and community groups are responding to ICE’s harmful actions in Minnesota. During this conversation, they were joined by DNC members and community leaders to discuss how they are taking action in Minnesota and how communities are coming together stronger than ever before to get ICE out of Minneapolis.
During his remarks, Chair Martin shared how Democrats are not looking away or backing down during this fight. Senate Democrats are refusing to support the DHS funding bill without significant changes to rein in ICE abuses. House Democrats are demanding that Kristi Noem be fired and, if the president refuses, we will back up our words with impeachment proceedings.
Action is sparking in communities across the country. People are using their voices for good and to make a change in our nation. So many Americans are asking what they can do to help right now and support organizations on the ground in Minnesota. Today, we’ll be sharing resources to help our communities in Minnesota so supporters like you can get involved from anywhere in the country.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for standing with us and choosing every day to be helpers.

ICYMI: Minnesota Democrats End Republican House Majority
Congratulations to Democratic candidates Shelley Buck and Meg Luger-Nikolai on clinching victories in their respective Minnesota House District 47A and House District 64A races. With these races, Democrats have successfully ended the Republican majority in the Minnesota state house, ensuring that Democrats have the power to fight back against the toxic GOP agenda.
Minnesotans are showing up and fighting for their communities each and every day, especially at the ballot box. With these victories, Minnesota has two more representatives who will champion for their constituents and fight back against federal overreach and violence. It is more important now than ever to use every tool at our disposal to stand up against the Trump administration and the injustice it is posing in communities like Minnesota. We are ready to organize and win in Minnesota in 2026 and beyond.
Donald Trump and ICE have overplayed their hand. The American people are watching as fear is being wielded as a political weapon and recognizing it for what it is: a dangerous abuse of power. Minnesota has shown everyone how to stand up, how to resist, and how to refuse to be broken. We are coming together to organize, protect one another, and demand accountability. We thank each and every one of you for choosing courage over fear.

So why can't the DNC be proactive? Start with Immigration. Put out a Policy with specifics.
Move onto Housing. Then Affordability. Come on. People don't view the Democrats as overwhelming positive. Why? They want to hear you have changed your direction.
Is it because PACS and Big Donors factor into your inaction?
Americans deserve better.
🇨🇦 Don OLD wants to steal the election again. America you can't let that happen. You now have a very important job to do. Save your Democracy. Don't let Don OLD or 'ICE' intimidate you. Remember YOU hold the power for change. I know it's not going to be easy, but you can do it. I saw this happen in 2020 it can happen in 2026 and 2028. I know that all you see is depression and anxiety but trust me, there is a light in the middle of tunnel for you to see. Start volunteering for the candidate you want in the midterm election. Start getting people excited about the changes that will happen if everyone pulls together. Use social media outlets to inform people and get them involved in your election. Volunteer at a phone bank because I know a lot of people are scared to answer the door or go out of their house. However, you can't hide forever, you have to show your strength. Remember the children are going to be looking to you for guidance, security and knowing that after the midterm election they too can go to school or play outside with their friends. America, Canada misses our southern neighbours. We're shocked at what we see. What we're faced with from; 'Don OLD' is trying to take out country away from us. That will never happen. Like America, we'll stand up and fight.
So America, time to get to work. Time to pull yourself up by your shoelaces and bootlaces. Time to get; 'Organized and Mobilized' because six months is a very short time and it will be here faster than you think.
You'll always have us behind you cheering you on and encouraging you to; 'FIGHT FOR YOUR DEMOCRACY'!
America we love you and care about you. So get out there and show your strength.
