Hi everyone,
From day one, DNC Chair Ken Martin has been laser-focused on building a stronger, more unified Democratic Party — one that’s ready to take on Trump and his allies across the country.
Chair Martin's campaign promise was clear: to organize, recruit, and implement innovative grassroots strategies that empower Democrats in every state and territory — and that’s exactly what we’re doing. His leadership is setting the stage for a more dynamic and effective DNC, capable of competing and winning everywhere and helping working families get ahead.
Here are some highlights from Chair Martin’s first 52 days in action in photos:
Met with some of the leaders who coordinated relief efforts for the LA wildfires, including firefighters and UCFW workers.
Knocked on doors in Wisconsin for Judge Susan Crawford, who’s running for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court on April 1.
Traveled to Selma, Alabama, to honor the 60th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday.
Met so many of the hardworking Americans across the country who make up our Party.
Traveled with the DNC Mobilization Team to meet with monthly donors in Houston, Texas.
& Moved to Washington, D.C., to work full time out of the DNC headquarters!

Get to Know the Candidates in the Florida and Wisconsin Special Elections
In exactly one week, folks in Florida and Wisconsin will cast their ballots in critical special elections. The DNC has been diligently supporting these candidates through historic investments and by encouraging grassroots supporters to get out the vote. Keep reading to learn more about the candidates running and how you can do your part to ensure they are elected!
Gay Valimont for FL-1: Gay Valimont is running to fill a house seat that was vacated by Republican Matt Gaetz. While navigating the terminal illnesses of both her husband and son at the same time, Gay saw firsthand how broken our health care system is for too many people. In Congress, Gay will fight to expand access to affordable health care and to bring down prescription drug prices.
Josh Weil for FL-6: Josh Weil is a proud single father and public school educator who wants to help the people of Florida, protect schools, and make a brighter future for all of us. He wants to protect our environment, fix health care, lower prescription drug prices, keep up with inflation for seniors living on a fixed income, and make our economy work for working people — not just the rich.
Judge Susan Crawford for WI Supreme Court: Judge Susan Crawford has dedicated her career to protecting the rights and freedoms of Wisconsinites as a prosecutor, private practice attorney, and now as a judge on the Dane County Circuit Court. Committed to fairness and impartiality, she has championed voting and workers' rights and defended access to reproductive health care, including her work with Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin.
These are strong candidates who want to help improve people’s lives — and their campaigns are funded by grassroots supporters like you. It’s not too late to do your part to ensure these candidates win! What is the DNC and why is it important?
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) was created during the Democratic National Convention of 1848 and is governed by its Charter and Bylaws. For 171 years, it’s been responsible for governing the Democratic Party and is the oldest continuing party committee in the United States. Under the leadership of Chair Ken Martin, the DNC is composed of the chairs and vice chairs of each state Democratic Party Committee and over 200 members elected by Democrats in all 57 states and the territories.
The DNC serves as the foundation of the Party. We support candidates up and down the ballot across the country to ensure they have the resources needed to win.
