The DNC Training Team is working around the clock to train the next generation of campaign and state party staff!
This year, the Training Team launched the DNC NextWave Regional Bootcamp, a new, free, and innovative training program that strengthens the pipeline for the next generation of campaign and party staff and prepares them to win races up and down the ballot in 2026 and beyond. Building strong staff is critical to winning elections, and we’re making sure that campaigns of all sizes have the tools they need to win.
The Bootcamps are three-day in-person training programs that provide participants with specialized training tailored to their experience level and connect them with fellow Democratic professionals. Throughout these programs, participants network with other attendees and trainers, and apply what they have learned through a competitive challenge at the end of the Bootcamp.
Participants in the Bootcamp work in one of two tracks based on their experience and career goals. The Campaigns 101 program is designed for folks newer to campaign work who are looking to strengthen their skills and gain exposure to new aspects of campaign and state party work. The Management Track is designed for mid-level and senior professionals to expand their leadership skills in the Democratic ecosystem.
Last month, the Training Team held their Western Regional Bootcamp in Phoenix, Arizona. Around 80 attendees, trainers, and staff attended to develop their skills for the upcoming election cycle. The team held 25 sessions hosted by 19 unique trainers over three days of training.
Do you or does someone you know work in the Democratic ecosystem? The DNC NextWave Regional Bootcamp for the Eastern Region will be held in person in Pittsburgh, PA, from Wednesday, June 24, through Friday, June 26. Current and aspiring campaign and state party staff from the Eastern region will have the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge campaign strategies, apply what they learn in the program, and network with other talented campaign staff.
